The Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF), the largest book forum in Russia on an international scale, will be held on the territory of VDNH, in pavilion No. 75. The guest of honor is the Republic of Korea.
The honorary guests of the exhibition at different times were: Poland (2005), France (2006), China (2007), Ukraine (2008), India (2009), Belarus (2010), Italy (2011). Various meetings are organized with the authors, presentations of new products, conferences and seminars. Since 1999 the Exhibition-Fair has been holding the annual national competition "Book of the Year".
More than 400 Russian and foreign publishing houses from 30 countries (from Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East) are going to participate in the oldest book forum in Russia. More than 500 events, including meetings with popular writers, authors of new books, actors, directors, politicians and athletes are held at various venues in the exhibition.
The exhibition will occupy 36,000 square meters. 1,500 participants from 45 countries will be represented.
