The festival is dedicated to the culture and traditions of Ancient Russia, its inhabitants and neighbors in the 9-11 centuries - Rus, Slavs, Varangians. The festival participants recreate the traditions of everyday life and military customs of the period of the formation of the Old Russian state.

Festival guests will be able to visit a real military field camp and see the old Russian life of the times of Svyatoslav and Vladimir with their own eyes. The camp’s life is built on the principle of “living history,” where every household item and life itself is carefully recreated by participants in historical reconstruction clubs and is fully consistent with how it was in the 9th-11th centuries. Everything at the festival - any subject, event or process is accessible to the study of camp visitors and helps to recreate the picture of the life of ancestors.
More than 100 historical tents and tents will be installed. The theme and unique style of the event have a family holiday and will be interesting to everyone interested in the history, culture and traditions of Ancient Russia.
The festival program will include:
- pair fights and mass battles of squads;
- theatrical performances;
- fair of medieval goods;
- workshops on early medieval crafts;
- shooting range, in which you can both throw spears and shoot from a bow;
- medieval tavern;
- costume and weapon contest;
- performances of the best ethnographic groups and folk artists of Russia;
- fire show.
