Every year in early July the festival gathers reconstruction clubs, search teams, historians, regional historians, artisans, merchants, craftsmen, equestrian art lovers and simply romantics. More than a 1000-year history of not only the Russian state, but also of other countries comes to life here.

Here, time has no power over people and events. For 21 years the festival has been attended by 140 thousand spectators and 10 thousand reenactors. In 2020, it is planned to carry out large-scale reconstructions dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, the 440th anniversary of the beginning of the development of Siberia by Ermak (reconstruction on the water), the Patriotic War of 1812 and the Russo-Japanese War.

Festival guests will have the opportunity to visit medieval tournaments, see the legionnaire camps, enroll in a gladiator school and shoot siege vehicles, become a recruit and learn to ride a horse.

Sightseeing: Sundial Park with city chimes on Serafim Sarovsky Embankment, Central Air Force Museum (Monino settlement), Fryanovo Manor, Shchelkovsky Museum of History and Local Lore, Art Gallery, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Uniform of Clothing Museum.
