“WORLD of Siberia” is the largest festival of folk culture in Siberia, one of the largest international festivals in Russia. It takes place annually on the second weekend of July. Every year this festival gathers about 35,000 guests from all over the world, immersing them for 3 days in an atmosphere of ethno-traditions and diversity of cultures. The festival area is 21.5 hectares, the program is very extensive, there are a variety of sites: reconstruction of ceremonies, master classes in playing folk instruments, baking lessons in the Russian oven, master classes in cooking traditional dishes, dancing flash mobs. The program in 2018 included more than 70 events. The most important part of the festival is ethnomusical and masterful competitions for the award of the WORLD Award. In 2018, 200 applications were received for the ethnomusical competition (41 regions of Russia and several countries: Ghana, Irlanidia, Hungary, Cote d'Ivour and France. 127 applications from 32 regions of the country were submitted to the master contest.

The headliners of the festival in 2018 are: Pelageya Group (Moscow), Morgane Ji (France) Mgzavrebi Group (Georgia), Goran Bregovic Wedding & Funeral Band (Serbia)
