In 2017, 15 young singers contest participants from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Vietnam, USA and of course, Russia are going to claim victory.

During the contest week many Russian celebrities are to perform on the “New Wave’s” stage and the renowned British singer will headline the event’s closing night.

Robbie Williams will be performing as part of the closing ceremony for New Wave 2017 this September in the Russian city of Sochi.

The singer and former member of British boy band Take That will be performing as part of the contest at the Black Sea resort of Sochi. The singer will perform a number of his hits as part of the closing ceremony becoming the guest of honor at the contest in Russia. He will follow in the steps of performers such as Tom Jones and Enrique Iglesias.

Singers from the United States and Vietnam are among the acts who will be competing this year at New Wave 2017. The competition is one of the biggest musical events within Eastern Europe in Sochi, Russia. Returning nations to this year’s contest are; Armenia, Romania, Sweden, Vietnam, the United States and Uzbekistan.
