The festival of historical medieval battle includes a mandatory tournament component of 8 battle formats (both foot and horse.) In addition, the following festival zones are represented: a historical camp and a fair of ancient crafts; medieval children's world; Fair NHP; ground combat vehicles; crossbow; historical camp of the Volga Bulgaria; playground of medieval music and dance.
For two days the atmosphere of life and life of our ancestors of the XIV-XV centuries reigns on the territory of the museum-reserve, spectacular battles of soldiers of the Golden Horde, Russia and Europe take place. Knightly single and mass competitions, horse and equestrian tournaments.
The evening program includes fights in the spotlight on the central lists; a concert of several bands on a small stage accompanied by a fire show; headliners on the main stage and a dramatized fiery tale with fireworks.
At the historic fair, where the best masters from all over Russia come together, you can try your hand at mastering ancient crafts in creative workshops. At dance master classes you can learn incendiary Irish or sedate historical dances. On the playground, children get acquainted with old games and modern sword fighting, take part in competitions and tournaments.
Entrance to the festival is free. Master classes at the historic fair, NHP fairs and the children's medieval world are free. Without age restrictions.
Sights: The festival takes place on the territory of the Bulgarian Historical and Architectural Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the northernmost monument of medieval Muslim architecture in the world, unique and the only example of the Bulgarian-Tatar architecture of the middle of the XIII-XIV centuries.
